Torix Privacy Statement and GDPR
We value your privacy and want to be clear about the data we collect, how we use it and your rights to control that information, which is why we’ve made some updates to our Privacy Statement.
We made these updates to reflect the high standards established by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a set of laws passed in the European Union which come into effect on the 25th of May.

What is the GDPR?
The GDPR is a regulation intended to strengthen and unify data protection for everyone within the European Union (EU). The GDPR requires greater openness and transparency from companies on how they collect, store and use personal data, while also imposing tighter limits on the use of personal data.
What are we doing about GDPR
Torix has undertaken a thorough process to ensure that all the information we hold that is subject to the GDPR is held in line with the new regulations, this includes a review of:
- The information we currently process and the legal basis for processing
- Cyber Security measures to minimise the risk of unauthorised data access or loss
- The security accreditations of our partners and suppliers
As part of this process Torix has achieved the IASME Governance including GDPR and Cyber Essentials accreditations.
